Frequently Asked Questions

Color harmonies are color combinations based on their positions on the color wheel. They naturally look pleasing together.

HEX is the most common web format (#ff0000). RGB uses red/green/blue values (255, 0, 0). HSL uses hue/saturation/lightness (0°, 100%, 50%) and is easier to reason about.

WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) defines minimum contrast ratios for readable text. AA requires 4.5:1 for normal text; AAA requires 7:1.
